We get the life we want through obedience. Obedience is the daily discipline of doing the work that God called you to do without moving your eye from God.
I am learning that the miracle is being at the centre of God’s will. It is the ability to get up each day with purpose and to move through life being held together by the hand and grace of God.
I often hear people say that they trusted God and moved but I never really understood what they meant until I came to the revelation of who God is, then I fully understood. The Holy Spirit teaches us that we sometimes get lost in the detail, neglecting to take the first step needed and I find that when you go where He calls you to go, He has literally gone before you. It may feel like you walking alone and you feel unsure, but The Bible tells us that He goes before us and levels the mountains. That is what it means, God already knows what you need and when we step in faith and we surrender all control, he orders our step and leads us in the path of righteousness for His name’s sake.
Sometimes the bigger the dream, the scarier it is to step out in faith but the fact that you cannot see how it will work, means it requires God who is about to do the impossible. We look at our circumstances and write our selves off. Look at Moses, heavy mission for someone who had ran off to tend sheep. He too listed his limitations, but God does not see us in our natural, he looks at us at with the purpose He put in us. The bigger the dream, the bigger your hunger and need for God should be.
Taking the first step may feel insignificant. The Bible tells us to not despise the days of small beginnings. Over time, disciplined daily steps taken in faith leads to progress. When the vision belongs to God, hand it back to God to lead it. When the fruits come, give them back to God. Let God have it and allow yourself to be a vessel.
Let His Kingdom come. Let His will be done through you. You step; He leads. You work; He strengthens. You trust; He provides.
